Local Onedrive not updating

Hi, I’ve recently updated a few channel names in teams. After a number of days these names haven’t updated / reflected in OneDrive.

I have logged out and logged back in again but still no change.

Any ideas, thoughts or suggestions would be welcomed.

Cheers

Hi @WarwickKells-5449

I’ve recently updated a few channel names in teams. After a number of days these names haven’t updated / reflected in OneDrive.

Microsoft notes that the new channel name will not be used by the OneDrive sync client until the client fully processes the channel following the rename. For more details, you could refer to this blog:

ok, thanks @JimmyYang-MSFT - so from that I assume the fix is not yet in place, or am I missing something?

I've tried updating the Channel name in Sharepoint but the system tells me to update in Teams.

Can't wait for the Teams rebuild from the ground up! Far too complex....

Hi @WarwickKells-5449

Based on my knowledge, Teams channel file is stored in SharePoint Online Site. So I want to confirm with you how did you related it to OneDrive. Have you used these option to make some changes?

It may need to sync the file manually to OneDrive after you change the channel name in Teams client. The blogs shows you how to sync an entrie Teams folder to OneDrive for your reference.
