Neither downloads or installs Portuguese (Brazil) language pack on Windows Server 2016 Datacenter

Hello,

I am trying to install the Portuguese (Brazil) language pack on a Windows Server 2016 Datacenter, but Windows Update does not perform any action. You can select the language and when you click to install it does nothing, does not download the package.

From the control panel, in the Language section, you click on Language Options and a message appears where it checks the availability of the package, then tells me to connect to the Internet to check the language packs (I am connected to the Internet).

I have previously downloaded the English (US) package from the same server and have had no problems installing and using it.

Hi,

Thank you for posing your problem to Microsoft Q&A forum.

You can select the language and when you click to install it does nothing, does not download the package.

Can you see the language pack under the Preferred languages after you click to install it?

If not, please try the methods in below article to see if you can install the Portuguese (Brazil) Language Pack successfully.

Yes, when you select the language it appears under the installed languages, but Windows Update does not perform any action:

When you go to Language Options, there is no message to download the language pack.

Hi,

Have you tried to type using the Portuguese (Brazil) language? Does it work well?

Have you tried the methods in below article to reinstall the language pack?
https://github.com/mageplaza/magento-2-portuguese-brazil-language-pack

Please also check if you have installed all Windows updates.

Hello,

All Windows updates are installed. The problem still occurs. When I try to add the language I get a message (Checking availability...), after a few seconds it tells me to connect to the internet to see the available packages (the server has internet).

I can't install it manually, I need another solution.
