I have windows server 2012 R2 that has scanned "Missing KB2677070/ KB2813430 improperly issued Digital Certificates could allow spoofing" but my understanding is there is no patch available for newer versions after windows server 2012.
I tried applying the KB2813430 but it does nit recognise for server 2012 r2 as stated. How can I fix this vulnerability then, s there any manual setting or registry entry to be applied?

Thanks @DSPatrick , this is what my search also led to. But now when i still get the vulnerability "Missing KB2677070/ KB2813430 improperly issued Digital Certificates could allow spoofing", not sure what is the patch or resolution to close this?
Seems the scan tool may be problematic since it reports KBs that do not apply.

Thanks, just wanted to make sure no additional changes/ settings required for windows server 2012 r2 for this specific vulnerability since the required KB does not apply for this windows version.
