Hi,
Your antivirus can interfere with Microsoft Edge and cause the mentioned error to appear. So you might want to change its configuration and disable certain settings, or you might want to consider disabling or removing your antivirus completely.
If that doesn’t work, try the steps below:
1.Open Internet Options.
Navigate to the Advanced tab. Disable Warn about certificates address mismatch option and click Apply and OK.
2.Open Powershell (Admin)
When Command Prompt opens, run the following command and hit Enter:
certutil -setreg chainEnableWeakSignatureFlags 8
After the command is performed, restart your PC and check if your problem is resolved.
Hope above information can help you.

Thanks for your reply
Still the issue persist, I tried all the above steps. Now this certificate issue is happening in Edge chromium 84 version and Google chrome as well. Is that IE 11 settings is causing this certificate pop up - under internet option - Advanced - "Warn about certificate address mismatch" is enabled
Now it is causing issue in most of the users. Is there any settings in Group policy or inside edge browser itself to suppress or purge this certificate error please
Hi,
You can use a new Prevent certificate error overrides group policy to enable or disable users from bypassing the security warning to sites that have SSL errors.
In the Local Group Policy Editor, navigate to the location below.
Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Microsoft Edge
In the right pane of Microsoft Edge in Local Group Policy Editor, double click on the Prevent certificate error overrides policy to edit it.
Hope above information can help you.

jenny, that tip is only for legacy edge, not edge chromium, also, that setting doesn't provide certificate error bypass, it enforces cert error block
