Distribution/Contact Groups with Extensions not showing in office 365

Hello,

We are in a hybrid state currently as we transition our users over to 365. We use the Active Directory Admin Center to enter an extension in the telephone attribute. These distribution/contact groups are basically departments, so it is a nice tool to have instead of maintaining a phone list on the intranet page. Those that haven't converted to 365 can see this in outlook but those of us that have converted cannot see it on the web or desktop version. Is there a way to remedy this?

Thank you

Jessica

Tel Numbers arent synced with groups, only with users and contacts.
Have to admit, I have never heard any of anyone doing that! :)
Would it make sense to change that process? The issue is even if you were to sync that , it wont be surfaced in Exchange Online.

Hi @ClabaughJessica-3689 ,

Welcome to our forum!

Agree with AndyDavid, i'm afraid they can't be synced.
