Mecm Intune Integration

Hi all.
I have a question about how Mecm is integrating with Intune now.
Our company uses Mecm version 2111, Active directoty local. Now there is a task on how to combine Intune and Mecm.
Intune in this case is needed to work with Apple devices, but the main tool should remain Mecm. Is it possible?
After reviewing the technical documentation, there is no complete idea of what is needed for this and whether it is possible at all.

@NikolayS-8203, Yes, it can be possible. You can enroll the Apple device to Intune to manage these devices. Here are some links about enrollment for the reference:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/enrollment/ios-enroll
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/enrollment/macos-enroll

For the windows device, if you want concurrently manage them by using both Configuration Manager and Microsoft Intune. you can consider co-management.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/comanage/overview

For the existing Configuration Manager clients, we can enable co-management via the steps in the following link:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/comanage/tutorial-co-manage-clients

After co-management, if you want some workloads managed by Intune, you can switch them.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/comanage/workloads

However, if you don't want any windows device managed by Intune, you can just enroll apple device into Intune to manage them separately.

Hope it can help.

Thanks for the answer.
What option would you recommend in this situation?
As far as I understand, the Intune subscription applies to the device. In the case of co-management, do we have to purchase additional licenses for Windows devices?
Sorry for the additional questions.

You don't need additional licenses for Co-management. However, if you plan to use Auto pilot then you will need a full Intune license. While it is a good investment, is there a specific business need for you to setup co-management?

Everyone should setup co-management and tenant attach. There is value and both come at a very small cost in terms of effort (as noted, there's no additional licensing cost to either and no additional infrastructure is required).

What are you using to manage apple devices right now?
For Windows 10\11 devices you can use Co-management.

Thanks for the answer.
At the moment, we are administering a macos device manually, as there are very few of them, but we want to consider the feasibility of implementing Intune for this purpose.
For Windows devices, we plan to keep Configuration Manager.
I have very little experience with Mecm and Intune, sorry.
