How to limit access to sharepoint web part

I am wanting to limit permissions to a text box web part on a SharePoint site. I know there used to be a way to do this based on archived forum posts like this one -- https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/b2cbd819-439b-4f2e-a2ff-69b7f232d26c/how-to-limit-access-to-sharepoint-web-part?forum=sharepointadminlegacy -- and am wondering if anyone has a suggested workflow to access the web part's permissions on the current version of SharePoint?

@ValerieFoley-4193,

The short answer is NO.

As far as I know, we cannot access the web part's permissions via workflow in SharePoint online.
