Passwords in Authenticator Missing

Yesterday I tried to log in to an account and the authenticator pop up came up. I clicked on it and it took me to my authenticator app, into the passwords tab. I then saw that all my passwords were gone. I did not do anything I am aware of to delete passwords. I tried searching online for a way to restore to a previous point where the passwords still existed but the only things I find is restoring authenticator to another phone, but that won't work because it will probably restore the empty passwords tab. I have a private and work account on my Authenticator. How do I recover passwords that just disappeared?

Some feedback information from Microsoft would indicate the authenticator app passwords are synced to Android/IOS Microsoft Edge app and/or Microsoft Edge autofill app for desktop. Meaning, if you cleared browsing data and passwords were selected for clearing, they are cleared in the authenticator app as well.

Don't believe 1Password or some of the other third party providers have this issue, but they're not necessarily free.

I really wish this was EXPLAIMED by Microsoft, LastPass, and 1Password have too many bugs when filling forms (user/pass) like trying to auto log in or not having the icon to auto fill the user/pass field. Quite tragic as I cleared the browser history as request by a help document and it did not warn me I would clear my 503 usernames and passwords. This is terrifying and enraging!!!

MICROSOFT, WHY DID YOU TIE OUR PASSWORDS IN EDGE TO AUTHENTICATOR WHEN AUTHENTICATOR IS NOT AVAILABLE ON MICROSOFT WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEM?
