Intune MFA for all Apps except Microsoft Teams on Android

Hello everyone,

we are planning to roll out MFA for all devices.

MFA is also planned on Android devices except when opening MS Teams.

So when opening MS Teams there shouldn't be a prompt for MFA.

We tried to create a conditional access policy with MFA for all devices and cloud apps except MS Teams but that didn't work.

Is there a way to accomplish this ?

Have you verified if the CA policy is actually applying? Is it possible you have mfa enabled per user?

thank you for your answer.

The CA policy is appliying and MFA per User is disabled.

I created a CA policy with mfa for all cloud apps and excluded ms teams.

Only Androiddevices are effected from this CA policy.

When I turn on this policy, I have to use MFA (as expected) but unfortunately also for the ms teams app.

Did I miss someting?

Could be an issue with your CA policy settings. Have you checked the sign-in logs to gather more details? Maybe run the 'whatif' tool to simulate the scenario.
