I started using Virtual desktops recently with Task View, and it just struggles a ridiculous amount with lag. My task manager says I'm only using 60-80% of my CPU and 70-80% of my RAM, but my computer regularly becomes wildly choppy with half seconds between rendering frames. I have a 1080 monitor, a 2160, and a 1200p running side by side, and I do two virtual desktops total. Having photo slideshows as the backgrounds increases lag significantly, but it's still very much present even with solid colored backgrounds.
There should be no issue since I'm not maxing out here, so what's going on? And would upgrading RAM for a wider buffer help? I don't want to drop that kind of money without knowing where the problem is.
