Intune compliance policy issue

Hello all,

I have a problem with a compliance policy setting, specifically with this one: Number of previous passwords to prevent reuse . The value is 12.

This setting compliance has an strange behaviour, because along a day, it is changing from compliant to not compliant every time that the device checks with Intune.

I also tried to change the password, but same issue.

Thank you in advance for any idea or suggestion.

@mazsorian Thanks for posting in our Q&A. From your description, did you mean that the setting "Number of previous passwords to prevent reuse" causes the device not compliant? If there is anything misunderstanding, please correct me.

To clarify this issue, please select the "not compliant" device > Device compliance > click the "Not compliant" policy to see the specific setting.

If there is anything update, feel free to let us know.

Hi LuDai,

Thank you for your answer. Yes, i can attach a screenshot:

It is strange, because the compliant status is changing every time althought the password is not changed.

Thanks,

@mazsorian Thanks for your update.

I have done the test in my lab. It keeps compliant every time when I sync the device.
