SCCM Co-management AD Schema

Hi all,

We are planning a Co-management configuration between SCCM version 20210 and Intune.

The SCCM has been working with no Active Directory Schema extension, so I want to ask if the AD Schema extension is required for Co-management configuration.

I did some research about that and didn't find any information.

The following link from Microsoft said that "Microsoft recommends that you extend your Active Directory schema for Configuration Manager, but it's not required."

So I'm assuming that neither is required for Co-management.

I will appreciate any advice and information about this issue.

Based on my experience, the process of Co-management between SCCM and Intune does not require Active Directory Schema extension, and Intune also does not require it.

Generally speaking, Active Directory Schema extension is extended when installing SCCM, since our SCCM is used without trouble, we do not need to extend it when co-managing.
