What is the head node in cyclecloud? is the head node same where cyclecloud is installed?

What is the head node in cyclecloud? is the head node same where cyclecloud is installed? In my scenario wanted to created shared drive on the HPC Cluster Head node.

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Platform, thanks for posting your query here.

In general, headnode is the scheduler (master) not the cyclecloud server.

By default there is a shared drive on the head node mounted at /shared. You can also define other shared drives in the cluster template or mount an external NFS filesystem through our default cluster template in the UI.

Each cluster has headnode. And you have multiple clusters under cyclecloud. So scheduler node will be the head node not the cyclecloud server.
