Windows 10 update - how find out what is pending

new to 10 (Aug 18, 2020). very old from 95 thru 8.1 ;) I pause updates until just before patch Tuesday, but how can I find out what is pending. Looks like I just have to blindly open the gate. Not good.

  • ThinkPad T530-2394-3J8, i5-3380M 2.9GHz, UEFI/GPT: Win10 2004 Pro x64, 8GB(15GB/s), Sammy 500GB SSD. -

yep, it will check for pending updates and apply them.
nope.
I am trying WuMgr. We'll see how it goes.

Please open the setting > update & security > windows update, you will the status of updates.

Hello,

If you go to Windows Update section in Settings app, Windows will automatically check for pending updates.
