"The request failed with HTTP status 503 : Service unavailable" Error in VAMT

Hi,
I have installed VAMT 3.1 in few Azure servers (Windows server 2019 Datacenter) and one Microsoft windows server 2012 R2 standard (on-prem) for Windows 2008 R2 ESU activation.

Everything seems to be working fine on Server 2012 R2(on-prem) but couldn't perform activation in Azure servers. Getting "The request failed with HTTP status 503 : Service unavailable" Error. WMI Feature is enabled in Firewall.

Using "Proxy activate" since 2008 R2 servers doesn't have internet connectivity in our environment.

I can discover servers, Update license status and install the product key.

But couldn't "Activate" , Kindly help me in resolving this issue.

Could some one please suggest whether any Ports or any URL needs to be white listed.

This issue got fixed but I came across another issue.

We have multiple domains in our environment but we are allowed to have only one server with SQL instance installed and remaining without SQL (One for each domain)

I have configured one server with VAMT and SQL together and trying to configure remaining with remote connectivity to SQL server.
Enabled SQL server remote connectivity (Enabled SQLBrowser, SQLSERVER services and inbound rules created, Enabled TCP/IP and SQLBrowser from SQL Server configuration manager. Enabled WMI feature from Firewall)
All servers are able to connect with FQDN\Instancename.
Server with VAMT+SQL is able to activate ESU license without any issues but server with VAMT+ Remote SQL server connectivity is giving below error .

Error: The Underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive .

Hi @KoradaMahalakshmi-3325

VAMT is likely using WMI port numbers which is as follows:

static RPC : TCP port 135

Dynamic range RPC: TCP 41952 - TCP 65535

I hope this answers your question.

Thanks.
