How do i setup Federation services on Azure for free

I am wanting to host my own exchange server at home for my emails so i can back them up. I run a Small business and want to able to sign in secure using Azure AD and On prem Directory

How can i do this for free

Hi Adam,

On-prem exchange server cannot directly leverage Azure AD services. Either you need to have hybrid setup or Domain controllers in Azure.

Its not feasible with your setup.

is there any doco's via microsoft i can use to set the Hybrid side up

Hi Adam,

Hybrid setup is needed during migration of on-prem exchange migration to office 365. like, To setup transit email routing and facilitate phased migration. etc.

Its not free. Licenses costs are incurred for 365 services.

If possible, I would recommend migrate all the users to office 365 and management became easier for you.
