Enforce MFA to users

Hello All,

If we have to reset MFA for John.dave@contoso.com and we found that there is a conflict of mail attribute instead of John.dave@contoso.com in smtp attribute of AD its currently Robin@contoso.com. How can we correct the Smtp attribute in ad and reset MFA for John.dave@contoso.com.

Thanks in advance :)

Hi @GurudasSatardekar

Thank you for asking this question on the Microsoft Q&A Platform.

If you are using a Domain Controller On-premises, go to the tab Attribute Editor for Robin@contoso.com and look for the attribute proxyAddresses and delete the redundant value

If you are 100%, validate the aliases for Robin@contoso.com

Hope this helps,
Carlos Solís Salazar
