Windows Server 2012 R2 Failover Cluster Event ID 1146

Hello,

We are getting issue on the hyper v failover cluster

Event ID : 1146

The cluster resource host subsystem (RHS) stopped unexpectedly. An attempt will be made to restart it. This is usually due to a problem in a resource DLL. Please determine which resource DLL is causing the issue and report the problem to the resource vendor.

Server OS: Windows Server 2012 r2

Followed this link https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/windows/it-pro/windows-server-2008-R2-and-2008/dd353936(v=ws.10)?redirectedfrom=MSDN
but could not find the option to do the changes on the 2012 r2 failover cluster manager.

Attached is the error189536-capture.png

Hi @MohammedArifuddin-5370

You can use the Cluster Validation Wizard to further converge on the troubleshooting step that you need to perform to sort the issue. Before you create a failover cluster, it is strongly recommended that you run all the cluster validation tests.

Cluster validation is intended to do the following:

-Find hardware or configuration issues before a failover cluster goes into production.
-Help ensure that the clustering solution you deploy is dependable.
-Provide a way to validate changes to the hardware of an existing cluster.

Validate Hardware for a Failover Cluster

Below threads discusses the same issue and you can try out some troubleshooting steps from this and see if that helps you to sort the Issue.
