SharePoint: Delete an associated task of an item in a list

Hello,
I have set a workflow on a Form Library in SharePoint which creates tasks for different users based on the actions that the users are doing. What I need additionally is that some of the tasks are deleted or at least marked as complete if the status of the associated item in the Form Library changes. But I cannot find any action in SharePoint Designer that accomplishes this goal. I don't also want to use any code, but use the Out Of The Box features in SharePoint Designer 2010 or 2013.
Is there way to mark a task (not all associated tasks) of an item in the Form Library as completed or delete that specific associated task?

Are you using SharePoint online or SharePoint on-premises?
