Site search not working

Hi there,

Our Bing-powered site search has suddenly stopped working. It will never find anything.

Does anyone know what the problem is here?

@tooltester-4439 Is this a older version of bing custom search API that was created under cognitive services namespace?
If yes, then could you check from custom search portal customsearch.ai if your instance configuration has changed? You should check the instance's Configuration tab under Hosted UI.

A newly created resource will have "Bing search services", older cognitive services resources will have "Cognitive Services".

You can also add new subscription keys and publish your instance to production. Please ensure to test the hosted UI from Production->Endpoints->Hosted UI tab

Thanks for your reply. It says Cognitive services.

I don't think the problem is related to Customsearch necessarily but the site seems to be deindexed entirely from Bing (search for tooltester.com on Bing, it doesn't appear). I logged into Bing Webmaster Tools but couldn't find any indication of an issue.

Can you please help me fix this?

@tooltester-4439 Bing webmaster support is actually available only on webmasters support page by raising a support ticket. bing related tags used on MS Q&A cover issues related to search API's that are created in Azure. The content that is indexed by bing is only displayed as response to the requests sent to these azure resources. I hope this clarifies.
