Edge issues after 31 3 22 update

Edge no longer saves internet explorer 11 settings in default browser section. therefore when you close edge the settings go. I don't mean after 30 days i am aware of that.

windows 11 using internet explorer 11 in edge mode.

I have read Microsoft are bringing out a fix for the 31. 3. 22 update but no one mentioned the above it was more about windows 10 users wanting to upgraded to windows 11 and importing ie11 settings into edge (which i tried but makes no difference)

Also another user still on windows 10 cant log into Microsoft teams today so i wonder if that is to do with the bad update too.

Seams like Microsoft are not fully checking updates before sending them out, as around the new year there was a Microsoft Office Access issue, and a printing issues before that and a couple of issues with Office Excel JET in the past.

Also in internet explorer mode in edge on windows 11, you can get to Internet Explorer settings in control panel some are missing eg always open in new tab (fixed in regedit) and you cant fully reset, when you get issues (believe there is a command prompt for this but does not work that well)

Before you say don't use IE11 its for a internal business software which is going to take a while to re develop, We don't use IE11 for browsing email etc

Hopefully Microsoft will fix this asap

In this case, you could send feedback to relvant team via built-in feature in Edge, just press Shift + Alt + i in Edge to edit your issue and send it. Something like this:

Been a new update this morning nothing changed but another office pc on windows 11 now is working which as not been updated yet. Strange

Out off my 50 w10 computers only 3 are on windows 11 for test reasons.

Do you mean the issue only occurs in Edge in Windows 11? If this is the case, you can add this information when sending feedback.
