How can ADO be used?

Hi,

I'd like to know if what we are using ADO for is within MSFT Policy/Standards.

The work we are doing in ADO is defined as ticketing, creating tracking mechanisms. This function organizes and tracks tickets aka "Work Items". There are a bunch of different functions of ADO such as code repositories, code deployment, UAT, and merging of code projects that we don't use as we aren't developers. Examples of our tickets/work items would be Risks, Controls, Findings, Audits, etc.

Given that we are only using ADO for the ticketing function is there any policy/standard against using it in this way and if so please share the reference?
