Patching of AVD hostpool VMs

I have been tasked to patch the AVD hostpool for my company. What is the recommended way forward and best practices to achieve this? The route that I have chosen is to patch the base image and redeploy a new hostpool, but I am not too sure if there are any roadblocks to this.

Hi @BrandonB-3322 ,

deploying a new hostpool based on an updated/patched image is one good option.
Another option might be using "SCCM/ConfigManager/Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager" or WSUS to patch the existing VMs.
