MS Edge "Internet Explorer mode pages" list empty every time I reopen Edge

New MS Edge Issue:
Within the last week or so (starting around April 1st) the list of sites saved in the "Internet Explorer mode pages" are no longer retained. Similarly, when first switching to IE mode, the dialog box with the switch labeled "open this page in internet explorer mode next time" no longer works. Or, I should say, toggling this switch does indeed add the site to the Internet Explorer mode pages list, but again, the added site is not retained between runs of Edge. This is a huge annoyance as I access multiple sites that require IE mode on a daily basis. I'm getting by because I can still manually make the switch to IE mode, but loss of the ability to save the sites is, as I said, annoying.

My system is on auto updates so the problem vanished without notice (just as the problem arrived without notice). In any case, thanks for getting back to meI

Hi @Tony-5824 ,

What you mentioned is a known issue that the Edge team is working on and has been fixed in Microsoft Edge Canary (version 102.0.1217.0+), and the issue has been fixed in Edge stable(version 100.0.1185.36), as mentioned by the relevant team. I tested this and found that it worked correctly again. So you can fix this problem simply by updating Edge to the latest version.

In addition, you can configure the IE mode site list via Group Policy, which won't stop working due to the exit of Edge. For how to configure IE mode group policy, please refer to this document, which contains detailed step description: Configure IE mode policies.
