one of the user we provision for RDS is showing as 2.15GB with quota allowed for 2.5GB but when I check with treesize the actual user profile is just 191MB. I tried deleting the profile and I was not able to delete the quota entry because the user has some files around 1.8GB which I am not able to locate
You may need to chkdsk the drive but prepare ahead of time with necessary backups in case things go south.

I have seen this before on my servers where the RDS quota usage data is well behind the actual profile size on disk. If you refresh the quota listing, does the user's profile size reset back to the expected size from your Treesize analysis?

It does not. Even if I delete the user profile (the list box where all the folders of the user are listed) will be empty and you should be able to delete the quota entry but it does not permit. as the quota states that the user has still registered files.
consumed quota: 1.7GB
max size: 2.5GB
actual files of the user: 190MB
even after deleting the user profile it still states it has consumed: 1.7GB. I tried searching "öwner: username" on file explorer to see what is the 1,7GB but no luck
did that already, didn't help
