Need to migrate a Azure vm back to on prem

Hello, due to some strange circumstances i need to migrate a server in Azure to on prem. We currently are migrating VMs from on prem to azure using azure migtrate but in one case the original on prem vm that got migrated to azure was blown away to soon and due to an app issue we need to bring it back on prem. Would using ASR be best? I have not replicated to on prem before so if there are any gotchas let me know or better ways of doing it. Thanks!

Hi @RickWagner-2344 ,

it's possible to download the disk of the VM: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/windows/download-vhd
In Hyper-V it's possible to add this downloaded disk to a new VM: https://petri.com/download-azure-vm-hyper-v/
