I accidentally changed ADSync service account on our Azure Connect server

Hello,

I accidentally changed ADSync service account on our Azure Connect server for Azure synchronization service. Now synchronization won't start.

A have installed AzureAD Connect to one of our servers, but accidentally changed default account (NT Service\ADSync) account to domain admin account and now synchronization to Azure is broken.

Is there a way to restore that account and service to start again?

Hi @StanimirIliev-9296

Thank you for asking this question on the Microsoft Q&A Platform.

That happened to me before.

I suggest that you reinstall the Azure AD Connect.

Hope this helps,

Hello,

AzureAd Connect won't start because sync service is not running.
