Azure ML connectivity with hive metastore

Dear MS team,
we're exploring the AML implementation in our org and i found AML can connect to ADLS2 through datastore; but I'm not sure if it can read the hive metastore and read the tables directly?

( i choose some random tag below as it's not allowing to submit the question, pls ignore the tagging for this question)

Any update? Seems Azure only support Azure storage now, any roadmap?
