Windows device not removed from MDE Portal.

I have removed device from Intune, Azure AD and AD. The device can no longer be seen in the mentioned portal anymore. However, I can still see the devices in MDE portal. I did not perform any offboarding process for MDE portal.

Will changes in Azure AD and Intune automatically sync to MDE console ? Or do I need to manually offboard devices from MDE portal ?

Hi, if the devices are not active on the network or the MDE sensor is not checking in then as far as I know the devices will go inactive after 30 days in MDE. However, I don't think the status ever changes to off boarded for such devices so you may have you to perform an off boarding for such devices. You can try using the API to do this.

The object should get removed after the retention period has completed in MDE.

Thanks for your reply Rahul.

So that means manual offboarding is not required for device to get removed from MDE portal ?
It would get removed automatically after retention period ?
