Hi @66304432
Welcome to Q&A forum!
The camera is greyed means there is no available camera found. Based on it, we suggest you check if the default camera is added/choose by referring the steps below (Click on the avatar>Settings>Devices>Camera).]
Besides, you can also check the Camera settings in PC by the steps (Open Windows Settings>Privacy>Camera). Meanwhile, to narrow down the issue, kindly use other apps or devices to check if this camera is available at your convenience.

Teams camera issue is ongoing and simply doing troubleshooting steps to get it resolved is not fixing this issue long term. There are many users who have this type of issue with teams.
When I started the computer this morning the teams camera wasn’t showing up, quitting teams then disabling the camera and re-enabling it and restarting teams worked to solve that issue.
But i keep it doing it anytime I start the computer. is not fixing the issue long term
Since there is no issue in Teams web client, we can make sure your settings is correct. What is your Teams version in your environment? Now my version is 1.5.00.11163 (64-bit).
