We are having issues with a recurring meeting where every attendee except the meeting organizer gets kicked out of the meeting and must rejoin. Often it happens repeatedly and forces us to move the meeting to Zoom.
Can anyone explain why this might happen?

For the most recent occurrence, there were nine people in the meeting. Generally, everyone uses the Teams app on their computers.
The issue has been happening on and off for quite a while (a year?) Until a week ago, we were using Google for email/calendar and this team was using a syncing tool to work in Outlook. The assumption had been this issue was connected to a glitch with the syncing tool. However, now that we have transitioned our email/calendar into Office 365, the problem still exists.

We are having issues with a recurring meeting where every attendee except the meeting organizer gets kicked out of the meeting and must rejoin.
Does this only affect the particular recurring meeting and can be reproduced on each occurrence of the meeting?
When this occurs, are all attendees kicked out at almost the same time?
Any difference if the attendee joins the meeting from Teams web client?
Based on my experience, sometimes this issue might occur due to bad network connectivity, so if all attendees are joining the meeting from within the same network environment, it's suggested to try testing on one machine by switching to a different network and see if the issue persists.
Besides, you can try disabling GPU hardware acceleration in Teams via Settings > General and see if there would be any improvement:
This happens sporadically and cannot be reproduced consistently.
All attendees (but not the organizer) get kicked out at the same time, usually at the beginning of the meeting.
I have asked this group to try using the Web application to rejoin the next time this happens to see if that allows them to stay in the meeting.
We are a 100% remote organization, so all attendees are in different locations so network connectivity can not be the issue.

Please try the following step below:
Clear Teams cache in Windows
If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the taskbar, and then select Quit.
Open the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows logo key +R.
In the Run dialog box, enter %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams, and then select OK.
Delete all files and folders in the %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams directory.
Restart Teams.

Since the issue cannot be reproduced consistently, it could be quite hard to troubleshoot further. And regarding the Teams web client, you can let the users try it for some time and see if it can get any better there. If it works find in Teams web client, agree with ricardosolisvillegas that it's worth trying to clearing the Teams cache and then sign in back to check how it goes.

Clearing cache works for a day but then we have to repeat that each day for Teams to work properly. Is there a permanent solution for this issue?
