I have a "Windows Server 2019 Standard" Azure VM instance, which I'm going to join to an Azure AD Domain Services domain.
Can I install and manage Remote Desktop Services (eg session host role) on that member server ?
If yes, do I need a Windows user with domain admin permissions to perform the install and/or manage remote desktop services on that member server ?

Yes, you need, at least, a local administrator.
