Windows 10 Hyper-V VM Failing to update to 20H2 pushed out via SCCM

We have a few VM's running on 1909 that we are trying to upgrade to 20H2, pushing it out via SCCM, however the install keeps failing. Sometime's the updates installs, but then when rebooting to apply the updates it gets rolled back. Checking the update logs, I've noticed multiple error messages, 800703F1 and 80041010.

Any advice to help troubleshoot this would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Luke

Hi,

Could we know which is the update logs, is it UpdatesDeployment.log or WindowsUpdate.log?
Does the problem occur on one VM or all VMs? Please provide more detail to solve the problem better.

About update troubleshooting, kindly refer to this article:

Hi,

Thanks for your response - This is from the WindowsUpdate.log . I am having this issue with two different VMs, however I have several more that the update is working fine. I will have a look through the article you have linked.

Thanks,
Luke
