RemoteFX USB redirection does not work from Windows Home

I am trying to set up USB redirection to Azure Virtual Desktop server with Microsoft desktop client. I've done all the voodoo with Policy Group Editor on the server and Windows 10 Pro client and successfully connected and the redirection works. However no matter what I do the redirection does not work when the client is Windows 10 Home - the connection is OK but the small computer icon at the top connection bar doesn't appear at all.
The fact that it works on Windows Professional makes me think that this has something to do with Windows Home, but I was not able to find any information about it.
Any help would be much appreciated.

You are correct, client-side USB redirection is not supported on Windows Home. This is by design.
