PTR is needed for DC?

Hi all,

Windows 2016 OS
If a PTR for a domain controller is missing, what would affect?

If the entry is missing, running ipconfig /registerdns on the server should repopulate DNS

@DSPatrick does it affect users to sign on if a PTR for DNS servers configured on the client PC is missing?
