Microsoft Defender For Endpoints And Intune

Hi,
I have a question.
Do I need to use Intune or get Intune licenses to config the Microsoft Defender For Endpoint?
Or is it just enough to get the licenses for Microsoft Defender For Endpoints?
like if I got Microsoft Defender For Endpoints P2, and I want to manage device control or web control, even the time of the full scan?
How it is going to be done.

and to be clear enough, the devices I am talking about, are not any managed, no MS AD, or Intune.
I just want to use Microsoft defender as an Anti-Virus,

For this issue, it is not related to intune because the devices are not managed by intune. So, it doesn't need to use intune license. Based on my research, the following article describes the minimum requirements for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint:

You don't need Intune or MS Defender for Endpoints, if you only want to run AV as non-managed. Every Windows 10 and 11 machine contains Defender AV already. Defender for Endpoint is a manage and monitor solution for enterprice.
