SCCM tried to install software for device but showing blank list

Dear experts,

We have a number of software created under Software Library - Applications, we can deploy them via Applications by right-click on the applications.
However, if I wanted to right-click on a certain device then select Install Application on it, it showed blank and none of the software was list there.

Any idea how we can have the software showing up this way?

This feature is used to help reduce the need for separate collections for every application, we have to deploy the application first with the checkbox "An administrator must approve a request for this application on the device checkbox", then use this function.

Thanks a lot for the instruction! Do you have any idea why our "Turn on" option is grayed out, can't be clicked?

Check the "Consent to use Pre-release feature" in Hierarchy settings:

Hi @AllenLiu-MSFT,

Thanks for that. You are right, we didn't enable this option yet.

I read the information and it said the action can NOT be undone, any impact if we do enable this? I can't see what it has to do with pre-release and our actual application deployment.

I'm doing this in Prod env.

I have a quick quesiton - regarding "An administrator must approve a request for this application on the device checkbox", then use this function.
In this case, can users still be able to install the application via Software Center by themselves?

The app won’t appear in Software Center and a user can’t install the app when you create the deployment.
After you initiate the action to install the app, the user now sees it in Software Center can install it and see its installation status.
