I have a NAS folder that I would like to add as a mapped drives. I continue to get a Windows Security box open asking me to "Enter network credentials". I have long since forgotten this information (both User name and Password). How do I reset this? I have a folder that I previously mapped that works fine. I tried several suggestions found on "https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums" with no luck.

Please Help if possible.

You didn't mention the brand / model but in general you could follow along here.

The nas is a QNAP. I have tried those credentials with no luck even thou I can log onto the nas with that username and password.

Why should I have to reset the password on my nas back to the factory default when I am able to log onto it gist fine with my current one? This seems to be a Win10 issue. In File Explorer under Network there is a subfolder with the name of my nas "MyNas". If I expand this I see all the folders I created on the nas. Only the music folder opens, (I believe I mapped this a year or so back). When I left click on any of the other folders Windows pops up a box asking for network credentials (Username and Password). My current working nas password will not work here.

Seems you're not alone. I'd try asking for help here in dedicated forums for your device.
