Hi All
i have a room and i have enforced booking policy that user1@contoso.com can book the Room room1@contoso.com. i have given user1 calendar editor access on room1.
user1 is able to book the room from his calendar
When user1 tries and click the room1 calendar to add an event directly into the calendar he sees New Entry option which is grayed out. This option is also rayed out when users clicks on File menu.
Experts guide me to fix the issue
Would it work if using OWA to add meetings on the room calendar?
If OWA doesn't work either, I suppose the issue may be the permission is not set correctly.
Please have a check via this cmdlet if the Editor permission is present:
Get-MailboxFolderPermission -identity <room mailbox>:\Calendar -User <user1>
