@sns1

I have tested in my end and I cannot reproduce the issue. Here're steps:

1.Register the SharePoint Online site collection as hub site.

2.Change the hub site logo.

3.Migrate a sub site from SharePoint server to SharePoint Online.

4.Sub site logo should be same as hub site collection.

Hi Emily du,

I have done as you have suggested, yes logo came up, However we will migrate different site collections and sub sites to respective hub site collection.
When we migrate all these sub sites and site collection ( from source ) to respective hub site collection in the destination, all these site collections and sub sites should pick up respective hub site collection logo. Here we migrate sub sites also separate site collection.

suppose source side has 10 sub sites under site collection called A, ( A site collection ), so we migrate these sub sites under A site collection as separate site collection and we associate these 10 sub sites ( 10 site collection post migration) to root hub site. And all these 10 site collection should pick up hub logo.

Is it possible? if yes how?

Like wise we have set of site collections (560) and sub sites ( 301) planned to migrate and every thing we migrate as site collection in the destination. and destination site collection we make sure registered as hub before migration. SO all these migrated sub sites and site collections should pick up respective hub logo in the destination.

Hi Emily Du,

Just addig to above notes, When we migrate sub site to different site collection and when that different site collection associate with hub , log is not coming up to as hub logo
Please see same in the below screenshot.

and when we do (migration ) for site collection it is picking top level ( top logo ) not hub logo.

Please suggest further, can we fix this problem with pnp?

@sns1

When you migrate a sub site in the SharePoint server to a site collection in the SharePoint Online, then associate the newly migration site collection with a hub site collection, the site logo of newly migration site collection will not be same as hub site collection. It's by default.

You could only change the site logo in the entire tenant for all sites and subsites by using PowerShell.
