Hi. For some reason my MS Teams App is not opening when I click on the invitation link received in my emails.
I am using Safari 15.4 on MacOS 11.6.5.
When I click on the invitation link it opens the Microsoft Page on Safari browser but it doesn't give the pop-up link which opens the Teams App and connects to the call. The "Open your Teams App" link is also not working. I have disabled pop-up blocker and everything too.
Can someone help me out??

I am using Safari 15.4 on MacOS 11.6.5.
Is it a recently occurred issue right after updating Safari to 15.4?
I just tried testing on my Safari which is still 15.3 and the Teams invitation link can work as expected:
In order to help narrow down if it's a browser related issue, it's suggested to try downloading and testing in different browsers like Edge and see it the issue persists there.

I have the exact same issue. it is not browser related, but microsoft related. I tried it with firefox and google. both show the same behavior
I personally do not have a teams account and I do not have a business office 365 account.
I do get invites from companies to talk to me thru teams, however, since the last updates of MacOS and Safari, I can no longer join Team calls.
I have the same issue on my Apple iPhone, there I get an error message around an error in the URL...which again shows the problem is on the microsoft side....
So, I guess, it will be Zoom again or Google meet, these both work perfectly.
Unless, someone can fix this at microsoft.

Hi, it is me again: the problem is caused by the Teams App for MacOS.
The link from the website that should direct you to the teams app, is no longer valid.
Work around: select to launch teams from the browser instead of using the app.
this screen is in Dutch, but select the second option, continue in browser and you are fine.

Yes, I am running 11.6.5 and the latest safari browser as well. Just to help:
In the past, when I click on the link for the invite to teams, my browser (safari) is launched and automatically the Teams App is launched. The browser asks for confirmation to launch the app.
Then the teams app launches and automatically connects me (I can enter my name first)
Now, when I click the link of the invite, I get the screen I showed above, but nothing happens, Even clicking on the last option (opening Teams App) leads nowhere, nothing happens.
As said, I can join the meeting by selecting "continue in browser"
I do not think it is an issue with the upgrade of safari, as that was done weeks ago and the problems only started last week. So, I think it is either OS related or the start screen of Microsoft (screenshot above). On my mobile phone I even get an error when I select to open the app...
