Server 2012 damaged backup catalog

What would be the correct procedure (or syntax) to rebuild the catalog on a dedicated external USB drive? This drive has 30 copies in the CLI, but only one available via the GUI. The drive is not visible, except in Disk Management. It has no drive letter, as per the original setup wizard. I am looking at these instructions: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/administration/windows-commands/wbadmin-restore-cata...

Given that the USB drive is not damaged, I'd like to rebuild the catalog to reflect the output from wbadmin get versions. The drive name is: FR0 2019_08_08 12:49 DISK_01. How would I achieve this? I restored from this drive a few weeks ago. Then there was a backup that finished with errors. Now I have only 1 available to recover. Thanks for your time - it's much appreciated.

Hi there,

As you have said that your backup has finished with an error, it would be great if you the share error message so that we can pinpoint the exact process causing the issue.

Meanwhile, If the location (disk, DVD, or remote shared folder) where you store your backups is damaged or lost and can't be used to restore the backup catalog, run the wbadmin delete catalog command to delete the corrupted catalog.
