Different os version installation on digitally licensed systems

I have a windows home digitally licensed os installed in my laptop. Can I install different version of OS like windows 10 pro on the same system and can still use the windows home with the original license.

Hi @GiridasT-0417,

You can install a Windows Pro version.

You don't have to even install, just change the product key and it will be upgraded.

You have to have a Pro key.

Hi kujala, thanks for your reply. But I don't want to upgrade to 10pro. I want to use the windows home only. Since I can't find a home os setup am using windows 10 pro setup.

You can simply create an installation media by using the following link.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Windows 10 will be automatically activated with the current license after the installation.
