Is it possible to have a certain spot in the Body of a message get automatically filled in by what's in the To field? Likewise with the Subject field? So, I am building an email template that multiple people will use and I am looking ot make it e4asier for them to use by having the name in To Filed automatically populate in the greeting. Also, the Subject will change with each use and I would like the Subject field to automatically populate at a specific spot in Body.

Example:

To: Joe Smith
Subject: Article 123456

Hi Joe Smith,

Regarding Article 123456...

Outlook Management
Outlook Management
Outlook: A family of Microsoft email and calendar products.Management: The act or process of organizing, handling, directing or controlling something.

    Hi @Geoff Satterfield ,

    Welcome to our forum!

As far as I know, from outlook, you can use auto fill feature to fill a name in the email body:

    1. Open a new Mail and navigate to ‘Quick Parts’ > Save Selection to Quick Part Gallery.
    2. On the Insert menu, point to Quick Parts> and select the word of phrase which you want to insert.

According to my search, you'll need to use a macro. Here is an article about Make Outlook email template with variables using VBA.
