Renewing CA, impact on clients, wifi, SAP

We are going to be renewing our Enterprise CA
the CA is installed on our DC.
to renew we will be keeping the existing key, and therfore i believe the cert just extends by our validity period set in the capolicy.inf file.

question
our desktops, laptops etc should just get the new cert expiry via gpupdate
what about our wifi units that get certs from the master? do we need to update the master wifi unit manually?
what about SAP, we have CA signed certs in SAP, do these need to be renewed manually?

Hi there,

Once you renew you CA you should make sure that you are deleting the old one to avoid any surprises as this might cause the WiFi to not correct as it might connect with old keys.

In the below thread you can find the impacts of renewing CA on WiFi devices.
