Intune policies not showing on Windows 10 systems

Hello All,

We have deployed Encryption as well Defender policies from Intune on Co-Managed Windows 10 systems. These profiles are shown deployed successfully from Intune Portal as well as on Windows 10 systems, its showing encrypted and Defender also seen configured. Everything is fine.

However, if I navigate to Settings >> Accounts >> Access work or school >> Connected to #### domain >> Info page; I can not seen the policies names appear there. Why it is missing? We are observing the same issue on all Windows 10 build (latest, n-1, n-2 etc.) Why its not showing these policies section..... Any missing configuration?

Hi, In my experience it can take some time for the managed policies section to populate under MDM info page. Honestly, this section adds very little value as normally it never gives a true picture of the policies that are assigned and users won't really check or understand what it's all about. As long as the policies are applying on the device and the compliance for these policies is reporting back to Intune correctly, then from an admin perspective this is all that should be needed.

Thanks Rahul for your inputs however we are waiting for long time but policies section is not coming up on any on the systems. We need to understand if any issue in configuration settings in Intune or local system or something missing.

To validate, have you moved the Endpoint Security workload to Intune (or Pilot) for the systems in scope?

Also, keep in mind you will never see Intune policy names on the Windows devices as this is not part of the MDM policy sent to the managed devices.

Yes Jason. We have moved the Endpoint Security workload to Intune (or Pilot) for the systems in scope.

If not policies names then what information we can expect under Policies section on Windows 10 systems wrt device encryption and Defender AV policies.

See https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/client-management/mdm/diagnose-mdm-failures-in-windows-10 for details on how to review MDM policies on a Windows device.
