Double quotations in Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator

As recommended by Hinata- MSFT, a moderator on the microsoft forums, I have posted my question here.

G'day,

For a while now I have been using a custom danish layout, but when coding have struggled with quotation marks. It seems that rather it typing out the curved double quotes, it instead does these: "" (U+0022).

How do I fix this inaccurate behavior?
