I connect to many computers throughout the week using Teamviewer VPN. I can connect very easily, the problem is if I lose connection or forget to close SSMS first, it's stuck for an extremely long time with a querying selection count and finally gives an error unable to determine if there are open transactions.
This happens for every open query tab one at a time and can take over 15 minutes to close SSMS. If I don't forget to close the studio first while the VPN connection is still connected, it chimes a Windows sound in the background and still takes a very long time to close SSMS.
This is super annoying and need immediate resolution. I can't find any settings to stop this from happening.
