We are trying to establish connection to serverless sql External tables from a Synapse notebook. We want to use SPN for authentication. Is there an example that we can leverage.

Could you please elaborate what you mean, when you say SPN? You mean using service principle id and password, connecting to serverless SQL pool and querying external tables from synapse notebook?
