Azure alert status update.

Hi Team,

We have integrated Azure alerts with ServiceNow using secure webhook. An incident is created in ServiceNow for say sevicehealth alerts recieved.

WE have below statuses for an alert fired in Azure monitor. New -> Acknowledged - > closed.

I am looking to check options to see if we can change the alert status to Aknowledged status automatically with ServiceNow ticket updated in the comments section.

Please let me know if that is possible?

I went through documentation online but could not find anything related. Any help or direction related to it would be helpful.

Hi,
This is not in the scope of the Azure Monitor alerts as secure webhook is a single direction -> alert rule -> alert instance -> action group -> third party system (like SNOW). If there is any possibility to be able to set the status of the alert instance based on the SNOW incident status you need to check with SNOW support. If there is no out of the box integration probably there are ways to build your own.
